JL retired at the begining of 2001, within weeks of the comp starting. CA was still with melbourne and a long way off from us signing him.
No offence, but you don't honestly believe that do you?

Of which there are 8 players who started in the junior program devleoped by Royce Co. in 1997.
After the superleague payments blow out, they had to reduce their expenditure to 3.5 Mill by 2000. To do this they had to ensure they had their own product coming through ASAP.

Richo & langy brought about 6 players to the club.
They were mostly backup players.
Bell, whippet, Donnato & regular first graders Preston Campbell, centre Paul Whatuira and prop Ben Ross. There may be others I am not aware of.

Agressive, I don't think so.
I think you might be a bit precious.
Did I tell you Sharks admin PM'd me about a complaint they received that I was too "agressive" & gave me a warning.

Not much chance of you ever admitting that you are wrong is there? Even when it is blatantly obvious to everyone else that you are. I think you may be dillusional pal.

As long as we win one before they use me as fertiliser.
Me too Popper... my kids and their friends reckon they'll have to send a video of a sharks grand final win to heaven or hell when it happens

Believe me some of the kids we debuted this year are top draw. So if we are not a top 8 side in the next 2 seasons, then I can't see things getting any better by 2006 unless we get a whole lot of new blood. Because by that time the likes of Stevo, Peachey, and Beattie will probably be gone, Vagana will be on his last legs and even Kimmorley will be slowing down a fair bit.

In fact our best chance is probably this coming season when all our veterans aren't quite over the hill, and the young guys are around to add enthusiasm. I've been saying ever since 2002 that 2004 was always going to be our year. I know a lot has changed since, but we still have all the basics right for great depth, and I can't see many holes in our top squad.

Even our biggest problem position, 5/8, is going to be battled out for by 2 junior Australian representitives. Things are still looking ok for mine.

5-7 years isn't enough for the sharks, they have had 38 years of rebuilding.
