The big one of course being winning The Premiership. You don't see no-one throwing parades for any of the others - or remembering them...

... or even caring about them.
But it remains the same...upsets happen, they are called upsets for a reason.

I certainly wasn't upset at the end result.

Your mob was just lucky because of the rain.
LOL...yeah OK!!!

You f***ed me over there Melon. You were supposed to say "But it wasn't raining that night."

And then I was gonna comeback with "That's why you's were lucky, everyone knows The Roosters can't play in the rain."

BOOM BOOM

And it would've been funny too, if you'd just stick to the script instaed of laming me with a "LOL".

Next time pick-up your game and stick to the script. I can't keep on being one comeback ahead of you if you don't stick to the script. I'll end up being like RC - always one step behind and never ready for a comeback.

And then it'll be time to give it away.

Watch out for easts this year fellas
with fittler fading Finch will have to do more, so when he gets the ball watch out. Dosnt matter where you, dont swing on chair, or anything like that because when finch has the ball he is likly to f**k up causing mass laughter and you could be injured

People in the crowd, take cover, you never know where that crazy ball will end up when finch has kicked/passed it!

Minor Premiers - Penrith
Premiers - Penrith

**Best team 2003 - Penrith

Bring up head to head stats Penrith vs Easts for the last 5 years
Penrith 6 Easts 4

**Last 5 years Penrith owns Easts

For the simple people
------------------------
The goal of the comp is to actually win the grand final. Success isnt measured by how many final series your club has appeared in, but in fact by how many Grand Finals it has won. Over the past 20 years the Roosters have only managed 1 Grand Final win, even Penrith is superior to East's over the last "two decades". One thing that does stand out is the Rooster are specialist choakers, Phil Gould has even produced stats that prove this. The Roosters are the have beens, if the Panthers don't win this year then the Bulldogs will, simple fact of the matter the West owns the East, and always will!

The mighty family of the West:
Panthers, Eels, Bulldogs and Tigers.

I agree that the best team for 2003 was Penrith. In 2023 the record books will show it.

As for the West owning the East I'd doubt it.

East would include

Roosters
Warriors
Cronulla
Saint George
Newcastle

All on the coast.

Sure Newcastle is North East but they are still on the coast.

That makes more sense. Keep the Warriors out of your East vs West Sydney bitchfight please.

It not THE ONLY criteria Big P, just highlights there are more criterias and interpretations to measure results. Rep selection especially with the numbers Easts put up goes a long way. Cronulla doesnt substatuate this theory and yo know it. Its a combination. Anyway tell it to the bookies LOL.

Gee the bookies are a reliable source aren't they?? They got it wrong in 2003 (as did many others - Phil Gould springs to mind) - but it doesn't matter. Penrith will just have to prove them (and people like you) wrong once again.

And as for rep selection..........

Kangaroo Tour - Craig Gower, Ryan Girdler, Trent Waterhourse, Luke Lewis & Joel Clinton

State Of Origin - Scott Sattler

New Zealand Squad - Tony Puletua, Joe Galuvao & Paul Whatuira

City/Country Origin - Craig Gower & Joel Clinton.

9 players out of a squad of 17. See?? Penrith achieved good rep selection over 2003!! 8) 8)

<<<<<<<------------- Plus this!!!!!!!!! And the Minor Premiership as well.

Your arguments about roosters being the "best of 2003" is weak.

The bookies got it wrong...Upsets happen. Gould got it wrong...upsets happen. the selctors got it wrong!! LOL.

Basically upsets happen dude!!! 2003 not the year of the Panther, the year of the upset!!!

UPSET ??... Upsets do happen, but not to Minor premiers, over competitions that run for 28 weeks to win a GF. They beat you on your Own Turf.

Against the Roosters. They were slight underdogs in the grand final, due to all the Hoolah your media Magnates, and propaganda machines roll out.

To most people, the Fairer, Better team won.. Simple.
