Precisely.

As mentioned earlier in the thread, some clubs are taking the approach of “Quick! Someone’s off contract! We better sign him”.

There really doesn’t seem to be any thought about balancing the squad, and pinpointing the areas which most need the spending.

Thankfully that doesn’t seem to be the case with us at the moment.
