Recruitment & Retention for 2005

Today was a big day in what we all hope will be a very successful recruitment/retention campaign for 2005 and beyond.

Can I just ask one thing though. Let's just wait until ALL of our recruitment/retention is complete for 2005 before we start making rash judgements on whether we paid this player too much or whether we should have gone for this player over that player etc etc etc....

We have to look at the WHOLE picture. Sometimes it's necessary to pay over the odds for a certain player to entice other players to come across as well. There are definitely other positions that need strengthening in our club so i'd like to think Riddell is only one piece of the puzzle for next year.

We'll have to wait and see what happens over the next few weeks. I'll reserve judgement until then.

What do you think his post was if it wasn't his opinion? Not everything in here has to be a debate or express contradicting opinions. It can simply be about passing on information, communicating with fellow fans, and sharing ideas.

Let the bloke have his say, you've had yours. I can include myself when saying some of us forum members could share our opinions of you, Game First, however in order to remain civil i'll keep quiet.

What's wrong with 'see what happens'? We can't predict the future! There's no point in saying our signings are going to be great, or they're going to bad, because WE DON'T KNOW WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN ( I can use capslock too)! His opinion is that we should see what happens, and logically I don't see a problem with that.
