Someone Please tell me how it went last night?
I wanted to go; and organised enough starters to fill a table. Then some had to go to Brisbane, some to Canberra, My youngest daughter had her Hoockey presentation brought foward and my wife had to work.
What happened and how did it go?

Flame it was a great night had by all. The girls in their frocks looked fantastic and the guys in their penguin suits looked dapper. The night was a great success with plenty of money raised through the auctions. The food was excellent and the beers were cold.

But Flame I'm sure you really aren't asking about that stuff. There was a real positive vibe in the room 760 people attended and the place was jam packed. Apparently another 100 wanted to attend but it would have been impossible to fit them in. We heard from Pappas, Piggins, Tapp, Langmack, Sattler, McCarthy Jack Rayner. Ray Martin was MC and did a superb job as I said previously there was a real buzz and the vibe was really uplifting. A good time had by all.

Yes, it was a good night. The venue was great and there did seem to be a positive atmosphere. I was unsure how the evening would pan out considering the forum was shut down on Friday and the negativity as a whole over the last few weeks but everybody seemed to put that aside last night. That was my first Red & Green Ball but it definitely won't be my last!!

I saw on Wade's site that there was a rumour that Tapp was actually going to resign that night (which he didn't) and that Hart (which we knew) and Puletua were leaving. I wasn't near the action so that is second hand info.
