I’m sick and tired of people predicting us to finish with the spoon, the media haven’t stopped talking about the dogs all week it’s sickening. Hopefully we prove a point on Sunday

I agree with both of you gentlemen on your respective comments . The media always requires a ball to kick around before the season begins, a club that has not achieved over the last few seasons so it’s no skin off their nose , to drive the boot in to their chosen teams ‘ zero chance ‘ of obtaining premiership glory .

And it would be extra nice for those big headed dogs to be well and truly beaten by our team of ‘easy beats ‘ as portrayed by the media , plus the fact that many of Bulldogs squad have swollen heads since arriving in the land of the flashing lights and casinos.

It's laziness in my opinion, most of them are not close to the clubs and the minutae of the pre season training, conditioning of the squads, and the player movements. They're just going on headlines. I really don't mind the media having us down the bottom it improves the top 8 betting odds for me and gives the team an incentive to give the favourites some bloody noses. And to be fair our final position last year hasn't helped our cause.

My take is we recruited very little.
A few reggies backs .
Kerr and Atko.
With Kyle at 5/8 our attack is poor.
We play slow football.
Specially close to the line.
Our defence hasn't got any better since Young took over.
Lawrie in the 19 says alot offers zero.

Relying on our young forwards staying healthy a few injuries and same as last season.

We need to neuter em, their balls being burton & galvin. If we could put em under pressure where their halves panic a bit would be great. It's a newish spine for em with unknown of who is actually controlling the side. Maybe we can exploit that a bit? I'd love Leilua to have a ripper game, one of our few x-factors. Hopefully him & Suli can form a good combo.

The Titans and Knights have new coaches so will get the benefit of the doubt and go ahead of the Saints and Souths are getting Cam Murray, Latrell and Graham back. Those 3 teams were probably the only ones you would put on par with Saints compared to last year. The others have stronger squads. I get why Saints are tipped last but than means nothing. The Titans and Knights have new coaches so will get the benefit of the doubt and go ahead of the Saints and Souths are getting Cam Murray, Latrell and Graham back. Those 3 teams were probably the only ones you would put on par with Saints compared to last year. The others have stronger squads. I get why Saints are tipped last but than means nothing. Saints have been tipped last for a few years now and prove them wrong.

Knights lost, Pierce Paul and Leo Thompson, Frizell is 34 yr.
Dylan Brown is very average.
Can Gaigi repeat his efforts of last year.
If Ponga gets injured they will struggle.
They would be my spooners.

I like the article Getsmarty, but there is always a but, unfortunately for the Dragons we are a team that are missing players to give us global attention required, the Dragons need to stand above all, until the management go out spend money in key areas it won’t happen.

Its a pity we didn't get selected for Vegas next year or the year after. My biggest fear is we cop a hiding and the negative press that goes with it.

We are trying to sign players eg KK and hopefully more to come as Flanno has alluded to.
