Tah, Avis.

Beside a rudimentary cap, you MAY have noticed that Dragons’ merchandise generally has a propensity towards red and black nowadays.

Then again, you’re still stuck in either genuflecting or a reverie.

Probably both.
I love it when you try and use big words but can’t quite get it right..

Greg Florimo said you do it all the time..

Really? Let’s see about that.

Genuflecting: (verb) “lower one’s body by bending one knee to the ground, especially in worship or as a sign of respect””.

Reverie: (noun) “a state of being pleasantly lost in one’s thoughts, a daydream@.

Both words describe you to a tee.

Big words? Hardly. They are not something a sesquipedalian would use.

I’ll ask Santa to buy you a dictionary.

Nope.. Another fail.. Let’s see where this one goes..

LOL!

Is that on your “say so”?

You may as well write “Just because” as a five-year-old would.

Hilarious

I wonder if lexicons come in red and black?

Once again, Avis, thanks for the laugh.

Nope.. that’s September 8th..

Although I hear the club is looking to change it to April 4th..

Do any of these dates coincide with your birthday? I hear an enormous amount of people genuflect while gazing at their collective belly buttons.

It must be quite an honour.

Yet another fail..

It’s number of people, mate..

Number of people..

If you’re going to attempt to pass yourself off as some kind of intellectual heavyweight, at least get the basics right..

Meanwhile, you continue to deflect.

How cute.

We concur on a single item: only one of us is “failing”.

Lol..

Deflect on what?

Your theory that Dragons management is secretly turning us into the Bears, a club that we’ve had no affiliation to whatsoever, all evidenced by a members cap that was secretly put in place behind a sham voting process designed to placate the masses?

That’s tinfoil hat material right there my friend..

Although.. Perhaps tinfoil hats are simply a marketing tool put in place by the aluminium industry to gain a foothold in the fashion industry..?

Go do some research and let me know..

No, in reality, you’re the one who’s mentioned some sort of clandestine agenda by club officials trying to “turn us into the Bears”.

What I’ve done is point out two points. They are: 1. the Club doesn’t disclose the results of the vote (which it doesn’t) and 2. drawn a parallel between Saints and North Sydney. (which is accurate).

Remember the question I posed much earlier? Wasn’t a part of the JV’s original charter something about NOT changing the Club’s colours?

It remains unanswered.

I bet you received you plenty of Encouragement Awards at school.

I’ll ask Santa if there’s a dictionary for dummies.

Sorry to disappoint you pigeon, but your “unanswered question” was asked before we engaged in discussion, so I can’t ‘deflect’ something that wasn’t directed at me, can I?

Unlike your deflection of my aluminium industry question to you..

But.. to adress your two points above..

1. The club released the results of the votes. It’s called the membership cap and it looks good. The majority of members agree.

2. The club colours haven’t changed. We are still staying strong to the Steelers and paying homage to Saints with the red & white colours..

The black additions for non field wear work well IMHO.. I’m more likely to wear black items to non games, which helps get the dragons brand out there..

If you don’t like the cap, send it back to the club and voice your displeasure there..

I’m well ahead of you, Avis, on all counts (particularly the last one).

It’s apparent you can’t differentiate between imply and infer either. And if you recall correctly, yours was the first reply to my original post apropos Members’ caps quite some time ago now.

Next time we “engage” in meaningful conversation, I’ll try to remember to dumb it down for you.

I don’t mean to jump into a situation that is giving me such joy but ( and I could be wrong ) doesn’t sesquipedalian have an “ L “ in it ?

Well picked up.

Once Blockhead has finished using the dictionary, and brushed up his syntax, I’ll do the same thing.
