Every where he goes he’s had success

stupid broncos never sacked him they’ve would’ve won a comp with that team they had at the time or gone close

their forward pack was awesome

If you can’t do anything in league have good defence and massive forwards

they might be slow but that forward pack is going to keep them in most of their games

Bennett isn’t trying to win a comp he’s trying to build a club long term

it took the broncos 5 years to win a comp and that was with basically the whole qld origin side playing for them plus Lazarus

That may have worked 5-10 years ago but the current game favours smaller, faster and more agile forwards

Signing 32 year olds? that’s not long term planning lol. He’s building a club in a rush that won’t get hammered in its first two years and then hoping he can pick up some talent over those two years to se them good after that. 2025 he’s going to need most a new pack again.
It’s a shame because they would benefit from being able to hit the ground running in terms of fan appeal But that’s what you get giving a new club only one year to get ready.

They missed out on lots of their first choice picks

they’ve signed some good juniors too.

bennett will be fine he’s done this before

Don’t be surprised if Charlie Staines ends up there as the First choice Fullback. He has been granted permission to negotiate and wants to play First Grade and sees himself as a Fullback..
