Colonel I reckon the only reason Joel is underrated defensively is that he misses so many tackles.

He did well, but it wasn't the origin Inglis. I can't get too pumped up about Joel's defense so close on the back of the Penrith game.

Great player, heaps of ticker, great clubman, playing out of his preferre position - but i can't rate him a great tackler on what I've seen over the last season and a half.

I can't remember every missed tackle but I would say a lot would have to do with what is happening inside him. Our defensive structure hasn't been the most watertight in that 18 months.

I agree Colonel and it was good to see both Joel and Guru have their communication sorted last night. They made some great decisions between them in defence.

The best thing about Joel Reddy is that he seems to just get better and better every season. 2 years ago he looked like a fringe first grader at best but now is a certain starter every match. Interesting hearing the commentators sometimes talk about him, even Phil Gould reckons he's just a natural footballer and could become anything in a few years. That's a massive wrap.

I have to agree with Gus on that.

Prediction: Joel Reddy, Origin Winger in the next 5 years. ;)

BTW how old is he?

I really doubt he'll play for NSW.

Too much talent around for FB, Wing, Centres (5 positions) in which he plays.

Likes of Jennings, Hayne, Morris, etc would always get the nod first.

He reminds me of Jason Moodie for some reason. Solid but not Flashy.

He might make City or Country though.
