TT ran into the teeth of the defence, bounced around like a ping pong ball, and poked his head through the other side time and time again.
Meanwhile Reddy shirked the hard work rucking it out of trouble and worked on his moon-tan out wide somewhere doing goodness knows what.
And go back and watch the game we lost against Souths in round 3 (4?) last year. It was 6-6, Reddy gets pummelled weakly out over the sideline in trying to score a try, then gets chipped over on the wing, doesn't turn to chase and watches Merritt run away and score. Then makes 2 more defensive errors resulting in tries in the next 5-6 minutes. I can't understand how TT could POSSIBLY EVER be that bad in defence.
Sad thing is that it's not unusual for Reddy to have his 'brain fades' in defence (last night in the first half he didn't move his feet when trying to tackle their man for the first try, just reached out his arms and as the guy stepped away he was totally lost...)
I agree that TT did totally jag it when knocked the ball out of Wes' hands - caught a break there! And he will need to work on his positioning + catching (Reddy is all over him in that department) but I'd rather invest the work on a winger who can make some serious meters and has plenty of speed about him (I'd argue he's quicker than Reddy)
TT played well but to include him in the 3 best players is a joke. Cayless, Mateo, Finch, Wagon, Cordoba, Hayne and even Keating were more deserving of points than him. Focus on Reddys defence if you want but he also scored a good try to help our comeback against the dogs and set up guru nicely last night.
