There's something about laughing out loud that is not kosher . . . when I'm full of piss and do it my family say I'm obnoxious. Then again I can see the connection with Lol@Souffs, maybe they are right.

Well I'll be . . . the interview a few moments ago between Rabs and Wally was inspirational. If you missed it try and find a replay

When the Storm gearbox kept jumping out of gear in the second half you'd think it wouldn't be such a bad thing if the Broncos got up, not really fair when teams play ugly and still finish with the two points. Brisbane certainly deserved the win if it was to be, can't deny their improvement and the more teams that step up the better.

Inu likes us all to imagine he's a god-fearing man, whatever the f**k that means, and he always appears the innocent bystander or at worst the victim of unfortunate circumstances. When Slater tried to the do the defensive job in last year's gf that his fullback can't do he instigated a melee that resulted in one of his forwards missing a large part of '13.

When Inglis kept palming him off he decided wilfully to show him that he was the better man. He plays the way SWS crowds like their players to play, but one on one he would be cannon fodder for Inglis. If the ball was set aside and fisticuffs took precedence that 'holier than thou' f**king smile would be face down.

Got to admit '13 is living up to it's unlucky foreboding beginning with what seemed to be a tedious offseason and what could culminate in dire immediate futures for some players. In between we have a series of misadventures such as poaching way too early in the season, rule changes that should have been refinements being made cataclysmic and betting morphing into a scourge. What the ARLC has achieved is in danger of suffering by distraction.

None of that it seems is enough for some doomsayers, they still need their ritual witch hunts, not the least of which is the usual scapegoating of coaches. Apparently Hasler, Griffin and Price so far this weekend are numerically under the gun and possibly may be joined by others. My question is why should Price be singled out for special treatment, is it because he doesn't have a chin or he refuses to fall on his sword. He certainly doesn't have better players than Hasler, Henry, Cleary, Furner or Griffin and Stuart in his dreamworld.

Apparently if the Dragons do what Price asks them to do they can come up with a great performance, as they did last night. Could another coach have achieved better with the same players and why can't the team save him by playing that way every week. Price, Cleary, Furner, Griffin and Stuart/Parish are just one playmaker away from providing more than nuisance value. Like everyone else there are players I think should be tested as playmakers but if Price can get what he had last night to perform as they can he knows how to coach.

Always been a rule in the automotive world if you see a vehicle for sale and it looks too good to be true it usually is, unless you're confident you are capable of rectifying the reason for sale without cost. Roundabout way of saying Scott Prince should have bowed out gracefully in the ESL, and the Titans have moved on from two steps forward and one back. They are becoming more cohesive each game and no longer look like a wrecking yard.

Jabba amuses with his summation of the game saying Penrith played better footy but the Titans were just dogged in their attitude. Does he mean they won like Melbourne do with frustration of the opposition their main attribute. GC scored 5:2 and I'm sure it's Humble pie Gus should be selling, this bloke knows which way the goalposts are and with any luck the rest will follow his directions.

Trying hard not to repeat myself here, did you see Noddy articulating instructions to Wighton before the other game and again at half time. Jack should have turned around and showed him the '2' on his back. Maybe Brett thinks the blank McCrone expression too formidable . . . anyway, I give up, Furner would do better to throw Noddy a jersey, think I've broken a toe on this dead horse.

Had to laugh at the suggestion Mason would go well in sky blue, what he did last night was just adequate for a club game interchange player, no more. Poor old Gids getting another knock wasn't such a bad thing either, the status quo was set a week ago and any interruption that is not mandatory, such as the return of Gagai, would return the Knights to medieval times. Both Titans and Knights look to be setting a spinnaker for the finish line.

Just an addendum, the difference between Penrith and Newcastle crowds is disparaging, must be there is more to do at the foot of the mountains.

Two games last night, one absorbing and the other intriguing. The Cowboys are still only on 2 points as are the Dogs but the arsewipes would scoff at the idea of CB being written off. NQ played well enough to categorise the game as the usual heightened degree of difficulty all teams face across the ditch and imo they are back on track with my only reservation Michael Morgan as halfback.

First we had the Dragons and now the Warriors this round doing the right thing by their coaches, not so much the winning but the effort. The NZ team have the same advantage Melbourne do with home games, foreboding as they are to any opposition, so they still have to step up big time, last night's game was a start. Godinet needs to play a bigger part and Johnson a lesser one, Elliott may have to tread on more toes and pray the dummies don't drop.

Although fairing no better than the forementioned coaches but a far better spin doctor who would do well selling lollywater from a covered wagon is Stuart. He isn't capable imo of increasing the value of a player, in other words the Hayne we see most of the time will remain the only one we'll get. As in Origin, Sticky never improved anyone, just arranged them. Hayne, Sandow and Kelly need to be instructed not asked.

Roosters have joined the Knights,Titans and Sharks on the list of menacing teams and their defence is only behind Manly and GC. More importantly is how well they're going with the youngsters they have and imo it's a toss up between Roosters and Titans in the race for improvement. SKD needs to go to the wing where his lack of a passing game can be circumvented and bellyache reckons it's just a matter of time before Tuivasa-Sheck dons the #1. Just the same the Roosters have little that need fixing . . . exciting indeed.

Poor old Gids....can't take a trick, he isn't even allowed to play in his best position, FB, Bennetts boyfriend has that sown up, looks like the bench for Gids for the rest of the season and then maybe a berth in the ESL.

The post match presser by Benny was a lesson in evasion, the way the team is firing his biggest problem is how is he going to remove an iconic player with the least amount of collateral damage. No one had the balls to ask him if Gidley had become superfluous.

I feel for Gids, he has been a great servant for the club and rarely gives less than his best, but now Bennett is faced with having to replace the club captain, not an easy task in one eyed Newcastle.

I'd like to see Gids "rest " for a couple of weeks to recover and then off the bench and announce retirement near end of season.

Great interview for all those doubting Thomas's who thought the SBW we were going to get was the one of 5 years ago. Happy to admit my concerns about his longevity seem out the window and I concede the inferences he makes to this year being a relearning period may mean he will be with your mob next year.
Would be a f**king downright shame if this bloke, no longer a boy, was to return to Union.

M'Lady, LU is where it's at. Once you navigate through the rubbish threads you'll find there are many knowledgeable forummers here for you to correspond with. No need to adopt my self-centred intimidatory stance to get attention either. Be good to have someone to talk to so don't be a stranger and there are a few Knight supporters who'll welcome your input, don't be too tough on them.

I expect you will come across a large number of familiar posters who have migrated.
