“The Disruptor”. No it’s not a new movie staring Clint Eastwood…. It’s the latest In the series of NRL made up rules that don’t actually have an effect and are inconsistently ruled on. I’d love to see a comparison on each so far and ones that have been let go.

It’s not the NRL that did it. That is a necessary response to the coaching.

Discussed this in the match thread, but the disruptor penalty on Capewell was a joke. He made no contact and provided no significant disruption, apart from being there.

Just to add to this, let's say Capewell goes into the contest and doesn't make contact with the attacking player because he's purely in position to make a tackle. No problem, right? But just as disruptive.

Only the NRL could muddy the waters so much, so often on what should be simple decisions.

It can only be deliberate, to generate controversy.

He got there too early. You can't knock the fullback out of the way before the ball gets there.
