Ref and Bunker Decisions

How could that dolt atkins get that ball travelling 10m call so wrong at such a crucial stage of the game? Everybody at the ground and watching on TV could clearly see the ball travelled 10m from the kick off. What a useless ref, and showed it throughout the game.

And the dolt had a perfect view as he was in-line with it.

The near side touchie should have been on the 40m line... Anyone with a grain of feel for the game knew that was setup for a short kick off. How hard is it to get the touchies to do anything... I stand by my opinion that touch judges are just emotional support people for the referees at their workplace.

So now we know that if a ball rolls down your arm while trying to ground it but doesn't lose contact you, in fact, have control of the ball. That's gotta be the dumbest rule interpretation I've seen.

.
The only people I've seen that thought it was a try, have affiliation to the Roosters.

Pretty lame listening to Fittler on CH9 say he had no problem with it at all, then Joey/Lockyer performing a merry dance around the fact you could tell neither thought it was a try, but didn't want to contradict their mate

Go to the gameday thread, knights fans think it was a try.

You may not agree with the rule but it was changed in 2023 and the wording leaves no doubt that it was a try based on current rules.
