It is pots luck with these blokes nowadays , it really is , but it won’t be happening to the clubs that that have an official mouthpiece and can say just what is on their minds to ensure that they will be overlooked for the same offense next time - and the Dragons are not one of those clubs .

We have been on the wrong side of the refs for the last few weeks. Seriously, what are we doing that other teams aren't? For some reason, we are getting penalised out of the game for the first 20 or 30 minutes. Based on tonight's results, hopefully we've built up a bit of resistance to the penalty avalanche.

True Believer.
Couldn't agree more.
Against a good team, to concede 7 or 8 pen in a row game over.
We sould get the refs boss to come to training and explain, what we are doing wrong.

Coach and hierarchy have no nads or money to cop a fine or challenge to the WWE tactics of Green-turt and the NRL trying to fix results to maximum results come the end of season ratings

This game is a business now, it's all pretty much staged to a maximum $$$$$ outcome
Very cynical view but one has to wonder, WTF?

To be kind, there were a lot of home side decisions in the Tigers match. We don't seem to get those when we are at home. Instead we are front runners at being penalised for whatever the refs have been told to crack down on each week.

IMaybe we haven't been attending referee briefings?

Where was McInnes & frizzel last night (and gaz last week) asking questions of the ref to why only our is being penalised.

Can you imagine Smith, Gallen et al being so quiet in a similar position

What happened to that bloke we signed, can’t remember his name that was supposed to get our team schooled in playing better under the rules.
It’s not working guys

We got bugger all tonight. 2 very noticeable ones were a Lafai dominant tackle and later, Sims (working) which were both penalised. Lafai literally got straight up off the ruck yet was pinged, whilst Sims had every right to 'work' the ruck, after snapping old mate.

Sims had no need for the second effort elbow to the chin - very poor discipline after a great initial hit. However the 5th tackle penalty against Kurt Mann was a complete WTF

I thought Lafai / Kurt and Hunts penalty’s were crap :poop: . We seem to have a quicker stop watch than other teams when it comes to blowing a penalty as well !!!
Having said that - we need to sort this out as any afford to give away massive advantages with repeat sets, more tackling and risk of players in the bin. We are a target for some reason..

The refs are not consistent in all calls, each ref has a different interpretation of rules. The top teams or certain teams get away with things other teams will be penalised for. Penalisethe wrestling and the other things will fix themselves, and will speed up the game without reducing the interchange numbers. One of the worst is the defenders who run back into defensive line getting in the road of attacking players and not been penalised. We need a new referees boss, some one with a league back ground, who understands rugby league, not these x referees.
