Maybe.

Cast your mind back to the finals 2 years ago when we were attacking the Cowboys line & Gal knocked it on at the play the ball.

They were all over him & a lot more time had elapsed after he was held. Knock on....

The stupidity of the media makes me laugh. Let me share this will you all.

Mitch Healey was the first “real” exponent of putting up bombs for tries.

Rather than being lauded for the quality of kicking (unlike Johns) the media (particularly Phil Gould) described the tactic as boring.

In fact, there was discussion about reducing a try to 3 points if scored from a kick.

Quite seriously, RL is simply one dimensional boring predictable football. Typically, points are scored on the back of penalties which is why Refereeing decisions come under so much focus.

I believe it was Jack Gibson using John “Bomber” Peard that re invented the up and under fizzer. About 10 years before Heals.

Can still hear Rex say about Peards bombs "It's a high, high Gary Owens" … So it must have been Gary Owens who invented them :p

Back in 67 I remember the old sharks 5/8 Jack Danzey putting up a high bomb at the northern end of sutho oval. It went so high a modern day Johnnsy would of creamed his pants.

Unfortunately it went right over the fence and did a first up bounce in the middle of the bitumen road. The opposition fullback didn't have a chance.

Refs will make sure they get every call they can give. Darlings of Nine & NRL must win.

Absolutely without a doubt. Can you imagine the fallout if the Broncos lose again?

They just can’t be one from seven after this weekend.

And this is why we all need to have our clipboards handy and write down every bum call that goes their way.

Then we bombard all the media outlets with our findings and get a Royal Commission going.

Quigs, you need to call in all your favours with your local pollies and get some action going.

It's not a TV game so Channel Nein will not be too pissed off.

I have a theory that might be in our favour. Now Prime Minister elect Bill Shorten told the lowlife Yank prick Murdoch to go and get stuffed. PM Shorten would talk to local Aussie Paper Editors and not go arselicking to some Yank quigs as those have before him.

Anyhow the Liar From the Shire, our very own Happy Clapping No1 supporter, the two faced Scummo currently has his head that far up Murdochs arse that he is having trouble breathing.

Unfortunately nearly everyone knows, including even those that follow the AFL that Scummo is a Sharks Fan (we know he is only in the good times).

The grub Murdoch might threaten with fake news and put pressure on the whistle blowers if they don't give the Mighty Sharks a leg up at the appropriate times during the game.

This could get interesting.

But it would be better with Simon O'Brien an honest all weather fair dinkum Sharks Fan.

Broncos are pretty farged for the third most disciplined team penalty wise. 1/6 with leg ups in every game except vs Cowboys. Only averaging 5 penalties per game.

They haven’t had Henry and that weird little pommy Tim Roby yet this year though.

I always find Henry is hard on the Sharks. Like because he played for us and doesn’t want to be seen to be favouring us. Pisses me ooorrrffff.

Well I’ve changed my mind a bit after the conclusion of the Storm / Warriors game.

That penalty to gift the Storm the penalty goal to level the scores was a joke.

The Storm guy tried to play it way too quick & I doubt the refs had even called “held”.

It’s a worry for tomorrow’s game as we will be pinged for everything!

Cools & I will be there to make sure the refs know if they aren’t fair! ;)
Refs were good in the first half. Penalised Welch for the fake I'm tangled up but really trying to clear the ruck tactic the storm use. Also penalised Smith. When it was tight in the second half you just knew they would give the warriors nothing and so it panned out. They get the courageous loss bullshit.

Agree with you on that call. Tried to play it too quick and chicken legs took the bait. Right result achieved, nothing to see here.

I think we will get annihilated in the pens tomorrow night. Brisbane CAN'T be 1 win from 7 .That will upset the agenda

Maybe next week though we might get the rub of the green against storm after last night's blatent activity for them

We will get hammered by Henry. He is a home town get.

Referee Smith will ensure a slow wrestling bore against the Storm.
