Far as you want. It was just a crazy time in life to think that your very first game as first grade coach you had to phone in because you were sick. And looking at where where are now 3 years later.

another one..

remember when Peach used to put the ball down an inch from the dead ball line?

Yes I remember That . Being on the road a lot in those days and only seeing Highlights it was scary ! Still Love the Peach and wish we had gotten a gf while he was here ,and given him a proper sendoff . No player from any team like him , loping along looking like no threat ...then Bang he cut them to pieces ! Oh yeah And put your heart in your throat again Putting Ball down millimetres from Dead Ball line ! LOL!

Sludge, length of the field try with John Jansen in hot pursuit at Endeavour. Both rat shit after out of breath.
That wasn't my first game at the ground but it is my first clear memory of a play there.
I think it may even be on youtube

I found a clip of the try I'm talking of, it's at the 3.15 min mark, but for all you here who never got to see Sludge play, this is a great vid. Watch the way he moves and plays, I just watched it and could see that even in todays game he would have killed it with his skills.
The most complete footballer I have ever seen.

The crucial game late in season 1989.
Gold coast restarted play kick off.
Chris Quinn looks at ball let's it's bounce dead.
The rule had changed from previous year it goes dead it's a drop out, I was screaming at tv pick it up pick it up.
We drop out they score and win a close game.
It causes us to miss 3rd and have a playoff to make finals against Donks I was at that game we win and then lose to Canberra in finals again at that game..
Never forgive Chris Quinn how could he not know the rules

I was at that game, it was an intercept or Sludge scooping up a loose ball on our tryline.

The cigar smoking John 'Bomber' Hynes scoring our first ever try at the western end of the Sydney Sports Ground in our first game in the big league. 1967 seems like only yesterday.

Arrrhhhh the memories. And I was sitting up on the wall near where he scored it.

Russell Richardson playing a blinder on debut, going the length of the field, diving for what would be his first try and spilling it.

Cronullafied personified.

Sharks first Match of the Day at the SCG 1971. Watched from the Brewongle Stand concourse. Lost 16-15. Ray Corcoran score 2 tries. George Taylforth missed 5 shots at goal. Sharks scored more tries but Ekka Simms kicked Souths home. Tommy Bishop played.
