I’m sure next time Bruce Gordon checks the forums he’ll take notice..
Hopefully it will spread to comments on the NRL site and the Mercury site.

I don't care if Gordon sees it or not, he will feel it if the protest takes off and WIN's ratings take a dive.

I like your enthusiasm kid, but you need to realise that WIN reaches over 5 million people..

Even if the dragons had say 50,000 fans who felt that passionately that they wouldn’t watch such high quality programs like the Bachelor because of Mary, that would represent a 1% drop in total viewerships..

That’s rounding...

And even then the growth in population would eventually outstrip the dragons fan numbers, meaning that WIN would grow its viewers..

And I know what you’re saying, we could convince non dragons fans to boycott WIN as well..

But I just tried that, I asked my neighbour to not watch The Project tonight as part of a protest against a team, and a sport, he has no interest to..

He told me to f**k off.. And he also told me to stop going though his garbage bins during the night.

Not sure if that’s related or not..

I would say it would only take one hundred or so comments with the statement included to draw the attention of some media reporters who might just want to investigate and run a story.

I'm sure WIN would respond to such a situation and maybe reconsider it's attitude towards SGI fans.

Just watching how quick opposition gets play the balls after tackle and our lack of standing grapple/wrestle leads to poor markers and opens up meters up the middle for the opposition. Would like to know who our grapple coach is?
I don't think we have one but Cameron Smith will be available in 2021.

I know, as a 9 yr old Id be So inspired by MY team coming 8th or 9th every year....
There was a time in the 12 team comp where fans supported even when teams without success for years where loyal and turned up in droves to their home games..waiting and a hoping. Tribalism. Stuck by and praised your team no matter what. Even local players or whoever came to your club were more loyal than today. Look at Penrith & Norths in the 70's and most of the 80's. Look at Parra in the 70's. Even poor old Wests in the 80's. Souths in the 90's.
Yeh professionalism, managers has changed it for me for the worse and social media...no one has time for anything else
But what has never changed is non success brought about a change of coaching etc regularly.

There is no doubt in my mind that since the WIN takeover and the appointment of Johnston, we have actually gone backwards.
The Chairman has no clue what St. George is all about.
Fans are nothing but a cash cow.
We are stuck in the Illawarra quicksand...
and to think we had over a hundred application world wide for the job and we decided to give the job to another old boy what a f**king joke and poor old bingo wanted to buy the half share and offered twice what gordon offered but got rejected because too many old boys would be on the scrap heap...........

Maybe the club should be renamed " St Nepotism ".

I posted this over in JA in the Rock Bottom thread and thought I should share it over here as well.

"As most people say you have to hit rock bottom before you can turn things around.
When exactly we hit rock bottom is hard to know but surely it is anytime from now until the end of Mc Fookknuckle's contract extension & no doubt when we hit it, we won't get up from it until the wankers running the joint are all turfed out.
To help expedite getting to rock bottom quicker thus having a turn around in "our lifetime" I propose that we should put the Big Red V in the locker and only play in the alternate strip or even better still just play as Illawarra.
The lot running our club and some of the players within it are not deserving of being associated with our greatest asset.
Time to show some pride and don't stain the best jersey ever, anymore"
