The poster said WWOS @ #50 is really ESL @ 2pm Sunday but I think # 81 is the correct slot. I wonder how WWE Afterburn rates?

This is very off topic but with sunday games rating so good, why the hell would ch9 want a second friday game instead of a second sunday game?

Get one live game on sunday and one delayed game and leave Friday night with one game. Both the clubs and ch9 would benefit from this.

im guessing that the football show wont start until sometime around the a-league stars considering the game is in the back half of the season for the european leagues

According to the tv guide in todays telegraph, ch9 are showing Wakey v Bradford instead of Wigan v Saints.

Sorry to bump this thread guys, but does anyone know if Channel 9 Perth have reverted back to showing Super League again? I've tried to record the games 3 times this season (having previously checked Nine's website and tv listings), but on all occasions have recorded a film instead, and presumed that I'd been outdone by the time difference. I've been told by mates who have no interest in the game that it's still on, but as yet I haven't managed to catch a single match all season apart from the WCC (which I wished I'd missed!).
Any info greatly appreciated.

Mate - you'd need to check local guides

They have them on the innerweb - so that's the best place to look.

Manly v Canberra @ 2pm - followed by Girl Happy (a 1960's musical) @ 4pm

So - no Super League for you Daylight Saving dodging Swans. Sorry mate.

Just heard on radio that from 28th June the 2pm Sunday afternoon slot on FTA Ch 9 will have a soccer focused show. So looks like the ESL lead in to Sunday NRL may be short lived. I don't know if the new soccer show will take up the whole 2 hours from 2pm - 4pm or continue throughtout the NRL season but it is strange that they would put a show on like that when the A-League is out of season and the soccer WC isn't on til next year.

I thought the ESL was rating okay for Ch 9?

Does anyone know if this is still the case?

I really enjoy my Sunday Super League games. It's a perfect timeslot for me and I have Foxtel and access to the 2.30 NRL game - but choose to watch the Super League game instead.

I hope they dont show a football show instead.

Huddersfield v Castleford is the 2pm game this Sunday.

Is this channel nine in the eastern states only? I dont get any superleague matches over in WA?! So annoying!

Can anyone help? Do Foxtel show the games too?

Cheers

Fairy, I believe it is Channel 9 only in Eastern states... and that Foxtel do not have the rights to Super League or Challenge Cup this year.

Channel 9 will have the rights again in 2010 and 2011. No word yet whether they will be bidding again from 2012. :(
