Pettybourne was born in Christchurch i think. Not sure where Waddell was born, but he definately looks Kiwi.

One of those boom teenagers could be 15 year old William Beale from Penrith. The guy has a HUGE future in the game, potential to be better than his brother Kurtley IMO

Michael Gordon is actually a New South Welshman (born in Cooma).

But before he linked up with Penrith, he played in the Queensland Cup and played for Queensland Residents. Also, Meninga has viewed as a potential future Origin player for Queensland.

Not sure if he's pledged his alliegence for any particular state yet. I guess it all depends on where he was at 16.

It's too hard to pick rep sides for 5 years time when you look at how many young players in the NSW and QLD sides weren't even playing first grade 5 years ago. Stewart, Hayne, King, Gidley, Mullen, White, Inglis, Hunt, Thurston, Johnson and probably several others weren't even playing first grade 5 years ago. Rep sides in 5 years time will more than likely be filled with names we've never great. Great for the game, when every player lost to england there's a ready made replacement just as good.

yep agree have seen them both come through the grades at mt druitt tigers since 6's and will "fulla" beale is a better attacking player then kurtley, allways rated him higher.

luke bailey should never play rep footy again. he is a good club player, but has done nothing in origin.
