If that is the case, i applaud the selection of Muspratt. His form in the PL has been most impressive. However, cant help but feel that M Witt is out of favour with BS. Maybe he will find it extremely difficult to get back into the team.
I don't think Witty is out of favour at all. The club has long term plans for him and he won't be rushed into first grade if his form is still down.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Muspratt start the game and O'Dwyer go back to the bench as he did against the bunnies on Monday.
I like the selection of Muspratt, very versatile player who can fill in at hooker, lock & 5/8. He can bring alot to the side so I hope he takes full advantage of the opportunity.
I think Smith has something in plan for Witt. Watching him play in P/L last week shows that he is happy there, he certainly didn't look like he didn't want to be there and he is improving.......there is no doubt that he will be in firsts this year, i guess it is just when the big man can see that he is 100% ready.
I for one would love to see Witt in firsts right now cause i think he has real talent but i guess we will just have to wait and see.........
ParraMatt: What is your source is your friends cousins, brothers, daughters, husband, sisters, sons, daughters, best friend dating Smith's daughters best friend??
Muspratt probably deserves a chance in top grade, Although i'd like to see a more attacking player hold down the 5'8th spot long term while our defence needs improving it would be handy having a strong defensive player in that position. Once the side has improved their defence then Thorman or Witt should get a chance in top grade.
