It's dangerous to think you know people Bay. The last 3 seasons, Elliott has taken us to the finals when most "respected" football pundits tipped us to finish near the bottom. If we had gotten the spoon the last 3 seasons, then everyone would want Elliott out. The fact remains though Bay that we haven't got the spoon.

Everyone knows that you don't like Elliott. Fair enough. But you act as though you're the only person in the world who cares, and if people don't hate the coach as much as you then they don't care about the Raiders. That's BS. I think it's a bit early to say Elliott should go and if Fielden comes on board, we will have a hot side for next year, one capable of doing much better than this years team.

I've been fairly happy with our recruitment and McLinden would have been squeezed out or at best found himself fighting for a spot on the bench. 2004 was the year for him to prove himself and he failed IMO which means he was not the right man for the job.

Even though the Elliott issue has been a hot one for a while now, it's the Mclinden decision that's sparked this topic in bringin it to the forefront AGAIN. Mclinden leaving is not the coach's fault, and it's not necessarily a bad thing as i think he was headed for a bench spot next year.
