Where’s Ponga.. looks like he got his wish and meninga had his sulk..I think Ponga would rather play for the kiwis anyway..there will be a few banged up and busted after that run around. That’s the last thing Ponga needs just to show you are the best of the best. . He knows he’s the best already

Ponga can go f**k himself. Playing for your country is a privilege, not something you decide you might want to do one day, and maybe not the next. Unless you're dying you make yourself available.

For all his talent Ponga is a spoilt, self-indulgent, narcasistic, classless imbecile.

His comments about not giving a shit when Brown got sacked cause he was having a milkshake show the type of person he is. You can think that, but you don't say it publicly. Show some maturity. He he sure as hell didn't like it when the spotlight was on him after he got cause out doing lines in the pub dunny. He bullshitted with the lamest story ever and showed no accountability. That's probably how he wants to spend this summer rather than representing his country.

I guarantee the knights will never play in a GF while Ponga is at the club, let alone win a comp.

I'd stamp his papers never to play for Australia. And anyone else who showed the same attitude.

Indeed. Subjective but fair enough. He is a cocky character. . I don’t mind that tho. He is a leader of men and is maturing even though you’d have to say slowly.. I’d say Newcastle don’t mind him.

Ouch!
You raise some good points there Dom. Points that a lot of people would be too afraid to point out.
I think ones' priorities should be a reflection of their character.
Maybe it's time for young Kaylan to have a good look in the mirror.

Yes but what are your thoughts. Otherwise why are you here?
Better Pongas mirror with him and his missus in it, than your mirror with you and Robo ‘like’ in tow..

Trump has proven that the old rules don’t apply anymore re having to play for Aussie if you are able..The Tongan boys want to play for Tonga and Ponga wants to play for NZ.. So what.. Pongas a star playing in a shit team despite that he’s showing outstanding loyalty with his commitment to his club with his onfield play and leadership matching his income. An improvement on the time when the white powder episode occured. . He’s an Aries tiger, Top of the food chain so just deal with his arrogance. His club and fellow players can only be happy with his leadership his influence on the game day outcome and what he brings for the fans, club and the team. We all develop and mature with mistakes made. It’s unlikely Newcastle get a premiership without him this decade..
And ofcourse a cocky maori boy. fk that right?

I didn't know that.
My first thoughts to that is not big deal but I think one would be naive to say they don't think of their bank account first.
It's a darn shame that we can't see one of the most talented back I've seen play in over 50 years.
We have to be careful that we don't say anything about him that could get us in trouble with the moderators as I was chastised last week for a naughty post even though I don't know what I wrote about a certain player as they deleted it. :)

Has anyone got this? If so, is it a worthwhile read?

Is it just a GF edition or is it an annual as well.
I hope they bring out an off-season edition so we can read up on who's who in the zoo for 2025

Papenhuyzen knocks back the dogs to resign with the storm.
Takes a payout surely. I really though he would go to the dogs.
Maybe the lure of winning a premiership was too much because the Panthers will be up against it imo.

The DT are reporting that Channel 7 are bidding for Rugby League broadcasting rights for 2028 and are considering introducing an NRL TV show in 2025.
Could this be influenced by Perth's and PNG's pending inclusions?

Gutho to fullback and Ilias ? to 1/2 back, if cook had his way.. I thought ilia’s was used as a scapegoat for a rotten core at south’s.

It would be nice if Ilias gets to sign with the Dragons and pull on the #7 jersey. It would nice to see what he and Cookie could achieve with some effort players in the spine, like Gutho, rather than having capricious partners like Walker and Mitchell.
