Who would like to go across to console the once mighty panthers . Their armour plated self image has collapsed and they are feeling somewhat vulnerable..I think someone should, I mean they don’t have the confidence to launch into tirades on here with gusto anymore .. I think now they just peek around the corner to see if there’s a possible opening for them…I really think someone should

The Roosters were spot on when they let May go telling him they are going in a different direction.
Who knew they could achieve that so fast.

(I plan on posting the above every time the Roosters lose. May it be often.)

I went to a wedding a while back and I met the Roosters fan (I think there is only one). He couldn't believe they let him go as well.

delayed message to Ivan Cleary.... The Panthers are taking a big chance by not signing Luai.

And further to that ...some over there are wanting to sign Galvin...if they couldn't afford Luai at his real value then A. How are they going to afford Galvin @ the amount and contract he would command? and B. It may come as a shock to their system that Galvin may not necessarily think that the Panthers "moving forward" would hold more promise for him than where he is right now??

A. Exactly
B. Spot on, it's reasonable to think their days are done.

Big Stefano going to Storm for less money :) he is useless today in the wet when big units like him should excel

He isn't terrible. He is just sort of average. Blore has come on though.

Stef's issue is that he is an average first grade prop being talked about and paid as a origin prop. It's pretty funny when you think about it.

I have to admit I was one of them, to a degree.
I said he had a season where he had no preseason, another one carrying an injury, and I saw potential.
Looking back, I was prepared to pay him on potential mainly because I saw at times a player who looked like he could really kick on and be a player like Haas.
He knew we were desperate for someone like Haas. A big aggressive middle. Those in the know agreed with me and he made the SOO squad, remember that? I think it was a training squad though??
BUT he never really repaid us after we nursed him back from injury twice but instead, supposedly went to the Storm for unders when he was ready to produce.
Stuff him. He's a big log and I'd rather have a player like Pole who runs like his life depends on it. Now if Pole get even better...wow!

I think Pole will certainly get better, he's only 22 and already showing us what we can look forward to with him and our new signings.
They say, the FR start to mature into the Job from 25? So I think he is already ahead of that.
I think he is ahead of Stef at the same age as well.

Middles are getting shorter but a classic middle is Haas. Hard to put down and stop their offloads.
Have you noticed that Twall is offloading now because of this reason.
Samuela Fianu, once he puts on a bit more muscle and gets more experience with be a real weapon. He's got a good body shape for a modern day loose forward.
