Big Stefano going to Storm for less money he is useless today in the wet when big units like him should excel

I have not even noticed him in any Storm game this year.

We don't always get our recruitment/retention right, but letting Stefano walk opened up the door to signing May. Huge win for us.

May wasn't available att but for some crazy reason Easts let him go and their fwd rotation is now rortered... I mean rooted
Your spot on. May could be the signing of the year for the whole NRL.
I doubt we would have won some of our wins this year if Stef played and May didn't.
Hunts improving too.

Stuff him. He's a big log and I'd rather have a player like Pole who runs like his life depends on it. Now if Pole get even better...wow!

Pole has always been better than him and much less rated. I was concerned last season when we were all in on Stefano that we would lost Pole. It all worked out. I don't think it was the plan but hey who gives a shit.

It wasn't on purpose though. I mean I can't get over how good the guys we've bought have been and how bad the guys we let go have been. It's early days but Bateman, Stef and IP have all been poor recruits so far. My gut feel is IP will come good, Stef will be a decent prop but overpaid and Bateman is past it.

We've lost 3 big names from our pack and replaced them with May and Hunt. I suppose you could throw Bird into the mix as well. You'd think we would have gone backwards but we've improved significantly.

How are Canterbury doing so well. I thought Ciraldo was the most overrated coach in the comp but geez they are doing well.

He doesn't look physically capable of playing NRL in the forwards, and looks markedly smaller than everyone else. He's either not getting in the gym, doing f**k all in the gym, or not taking the 'supplements' all the other NRL players are taking.
