he just made the correction.

boy does he look like a fool!

GOOD!
The guy is a 2 colours short of a fruitloop box.
He really needs help as a league caller too. Deadset he struggles.

Charming comment on a guy who has had mental health issues and is a bi-polar suffer i think

well done charlie.

craig hamilton is terribly biased, but i think he's done a fair job on the sidelines over his career.

and considering the mental health issues that he's fought against, he's certainly alright by me!

Given what he has been through, generally he makes alot of other commentators look pretty average. I rate him.

You would think that you would make sure of something like that before announcing it - maybe the emotion of the night got to him...

so what if Hamo supports his team

I reckon he does a pretty good job as do the whole of the ABC team ... as opposed to the opposition who just speak dribble for 12 hours every weekend

cheers Grandstand

Oink !

There is a vital difference, in case someone brings up our recent jersey retirement decision.

The Bulldogs have forever retired jersey #18 as a 'dedication to the fans' and it will never be worn at club level again. This is allowable I believe due to the fact #18 is not a playing number when naming a lineup anyway.

As many may have noticed, Sherwin played in #19 today, Hickey in #20

I reckon the best thing Mullen can do for his career is to piss off out of Newcastle as quick as possible, and never look back.

probably a fair call to be honest
i really feel for any half coming into the knights squad for the next 10-15 years
whom ever is there will struggle with the pressure of replacing johns

i mean look at the roosters since fittler, or better yet, the raiders in life after stuart/daley... McLinden especially, great player but was never really going to be a Laurie Daley, and his game suffered for us trying to make him one, as well as our next stuart, mullins, mal and what ever other position we played him at...

only now have we got a halves combination that is even fit to wipe the arse of stick and loz

Didn't Canberra put in a request years ago to rest 1 of their numbers due to them feeling it was unlucky? (In that the players wearing it kept getting injured) & the request was refused due to numbers corresponding with positions and obviously not individuals?

Maybe Legend or one of the other older Raider fans can remember this?

Craig Hamilton is pretty biased, great as a sideline eye, but NOT as a play-by-play.

I actually always thought Matt Rodwell was the more biased Novocastrian in commentary.

At least the ABC commentators make no secret of the fact that they support teams, so you don't necessarily roll your eyes at their calling.
