We were the least penalised team for holding down because the opposition were too busy shredding us left right and centre!! This fool should be fitted with a black leather gag ball 24/7 cause he is severely embarrassing the mighty red V every time he opens his gob

Yeah, especially right centre...

Cheers. Saab although still a young pup has been very ordinary to be honest. He doesn’t even register in my thoughts at the moment. Maybe a little harsh but even in the 9’s he looked like he couldn’t give 2 shits and was just barely going through the motions. A lot of talk about him being some sort of saviour but he is nowhere near ready for 1st grade in my opinion

I saw Saab play live in last years pre season trial and was impressed with him. For a skinny bloke he is strong and has good leg drive, he was carrying blokes out of our end. I think once he fills out he'll be a quality footy player.

Yeah no doubting in the next 2-3 years when his body bulks up a bit things will be better. Still have that memory in the 9’s final when he had an open sideline to score and probably win us the gf and he seemed to be stuck in 3rd gear and got pulled down about 5 meters short and bundled into touch. Was a head shaking moment for me

Yes we all collectively shook our heads at that moment!
But he's 19 and has only played 3 NRL games thus far. I'm keen to see a bit more of him.
You know Mary will go with Lomax and Pereira though as his wingers so he may be waiting a while until he gets a call up.

It just annoys the hell out of me that most clubs have some young teenager kicking ass and looking like a future champion. I honestly can’t remember the last time the club produced a Xerri, Campbell Graham etc. Besides the legendary Lance Thompson I honestly can’t remember a kick ass 18 or 19 year old playing in the red V where I’ve gone wow!!
