I guess my point is you dont pay workhorses that sort of coin. for rep-money you want IMPACT. We have enough worker-types, and they aren't getting that sort of dosh.

He played well today. Real workhorse.

but unless he becomes an IMPACT player (that would be damn nice...), we have paid too much.

And my point remains about a forward being able to make metres without needing his team mates to lay a platform - they are there to set the platform. It certainly does help when the pack is rolling - but a good (great) forward can be the one to start that process - and doesn't need everyone else to be 'on' in order to have a good game.

I think its obvious we payed too much for him but he might as well play like he deserves it. Impact is something you're born with and I just don't think he has it in him, but I'd be fine with a very high work rate performance because none of the other 'workhorses are willing to take any more than 8-10 hit ups.
