I'll download if I want to hear something before I buy but if I like an album I want to own it. Can't understand why people want to only have their music in mp3 files etc.

I recommend you sit your fat ass down and listen to the whole 11 albums. If you don't appreciate the music after that..... well that wouldn't happen. If you listened most of his solo stuff you'd have a much better appreciation of his art. As for Van Halen. He MAYBE, maybem, more technical than Frusciante, but he'll never be a better guitar player and musician than frusciante. Suck it up cocksniff.

The question is not who has he influenced, but who he is to influence. John Frusciante hasn't been around as long as Van Halen, he put out his solo stuff in the 90's. In many years to come everyone will see John Frusciante's magic and many future great guitarists will be influenced by his incredible musical style.

Do you think someone like John Frusciante would give a f**k if i downloaded his songs? Real musicians don't care about how people get their music as long as their music is heard. There are many artists these days who are in it just for the money, but the true great musicians wouldn't care less.
