HEIGHINGTON RE-SIGNS WITH WESTS TIGERS Wests Tigers second-rower Chris Heighington has agreed to a new three-year deal with the club.

Heighington shook hands on a new contract this afternoon with Wests Tigers Recruitment Manager Warren McDonnell.

He will be with the Wests Tigers until the end of 2011.

Or perhaps it's a case of the people runnung the club actually DO know what they're doing, despite the opinions of rabid panicking fans. In the end Heighno signed, and did so for an amount below market value. That should leave extra money in the kitty to throw at Head, Teo, & Galloway.
