So Craig & Cammers, which one are you voting for?

(Waits anxiously for tirade of abuse on subject from Craig...)

I'd probably run with the one on the left. The one on the right may be closer to the home strip, but the extra yellow down the sides gays it up IMO.

The one on the left would also be an improvement on the 'silver budgie' strip, which only barely scrapes in ahead of the ghastly Cronulla way strip in the footy fashion stakes.

Did you post this simply to annoy me? :)

They both look f**king ridiclous and I won't be voting for either. The members happy to sell our history down the toilet can decide. :(

(We don't clash with ANY club as we always wear differernt colored shorts to our opposition..... Only blind morons can argue otherwise)

For the record though, the panels don't look too bad when on an actual jersey - I quite like the training strips (Which is what that is based on). The reverse (canary) monstrosity however looks bloody terrible in reality (few years ago the HUN touched up a photo of Joel Bowden and reversed the colors and it looked bloody stupid)

I hope Collingwood find some legal avenue to continue to give the AFL the finger.

I am pleased to see those jerseys seem to have Reebok badging as opposed to Hummel though!

(Best decision the club has made in years)

I burst with laughter when i first saw them... then i realised it wasn't a joke and in fact we are going to be running around in one of those.

I voted for the one on the right (although on the actual site its on the 'left') simply because it looks most like our original one. (I also believe the one on the left looks exactly like one some WA side wears)

Until we go back to B&W TVs noone will ever convince me that Richmond guernseys clash with Essendon's.

Yeah well i guess we could protest by not voting, but its going to come in anyway, so i'd rather the one that looks most like the real one to come in...

One on the left.

I don't get this talk about "flushing history down the toilet" crap. It's a jersey.
I'm pissed off about South Sydney's away jersey, but only because it's rubbish looking, not the whole premise of alternative strips.

& you'd consider the two above as not rubbish?!

If you believe Richmond's strip clashes with any other teams I strongly suggest you get your eyes checked.

When we wear black shorts the opposition wears white, when we wear white shorts the opposition wears colored shorts.

I fail to see why Richmond should have to wear some poofy looking jersey like the ones above when we don't clash with anyone and the whole idea is just a means to make the AFL more money.

If Richmond had control over it's own merchandising I may not be so militant on the topic...

You never look at a player's shorts in open play — you look mainly at their torso. So you're saying two teams could wear the identical jersey, and have different coloured shorts, and that would be sufficient?

And while I didn't find it impossible to tell Essendon and Richmond apart when they played, it did take a split second longer than previous to determine which player was which. So I say the left jersey.

You can't instantly determine the difference between a player wearing dark red and a player wearing bright yellow?

Yes, but I can't instantly determine the difference between one player wearing black with yellow, and one wearing black with red. But I see your point — why is it only until now this is being done? Imagine watching North v Collingwood without an away guernsey?

And no, I am not a Tasmanian with a black and white TV...

*sigh*

If they think they are getting $100 out of me this disgusting, insulting piece of sh!t 'guernsey' then they are seriously kidding themselves.

I cannot believe this what won. People are stupid.

I voted for that one, basically because it looked most like the original one..

Wont ever be buying it though.
