And you and parra fans could be right again about how crap each others teams chances are with Ricky and Arthur.

Could very well be. I'm still uncertain of his appointment, he has a lot of work ahead of him. Certainly not screaming "2014 Premiers" from the rooftop.

If Ricky can win us as many premierships as Sheens did then I'd be pretty stoked.

Stuart doesn't have the cattle Sheens had. The team Canberra has always has potential, but Canberra back then were proven, they were consistently outstanding... Clyde, Meninga, Wiki, Nadruku, Daley, Stuart, Pongia, Belcher, Mullins, Lomax, Lazarus, Steve Walters, Furner... I'm sure I've forgotten some, that was a team of legends.

Arthur is a bit of an unknown given his lack of top level experience. He may turn out to be a Trent Robinson mk II, who knows

Ricky is a proven failure since his Roosters days however

Loudy would never be League illiterate enough to ridicule a coach, player or referee before he's made at least 5 appearances let alone none. Arthur may prove as incompetent and unknowledgeable as the people ridiculing him without substantiation . . . whatever happens once a f**kwit always a f**kwit

Most of those players were brought into first grade by Sheens though. You have to be a decent coach to keep a team at the top for 8 years, regardless of the cattle. Despite the line-up, we weren?t even favourites for the 89 and 94 Grand Finals.

Or as we say on LU, once a f**kwit always a popeye.

That was quite easy.

That is absolutely insane. Those sides were ridiculous!

On reflection it seems weird in 1994, but the Bulldogs were minor premiers and knocked us off in a semi 2 weeks prior (still one of the most amazing games I?ve ever seen). In 1989 the Tigers were sh*t hot and looked unstoppable. Guys like Daley, Stuart, Clyde and Lazarus were just kids at the time.
