I think the problem is he is too intense. He might do alright in Origin because it is only 3 games and he might be able to raise the intensity of the players.

Club football all of his success at the Roosters basically came down to being under Gould with the best roster in the competition. Including arguably the best back and best forward in the competition. You just have to look at Cronulla this season they won't win the competition but they are playing far better and with more freedom.

So as a club coach i think he is pretty poor constantly whinges and whines about absolutely everything. His achievements don't really hold up when you consider in 2005 Gould and Fittler left the Roosters. Gould didn't leave as much as lessen his influence and the club went downhill fast.

Cronulla are doing better without him. I remember him having a dig at Kimmorley in his column in the paper saying his poor performance in the semi final for the bulldogs that season was one of the main reasons he got rid of him. Despite the fact Cronulla finished last that season he felt the need to pat himself on the back.

Don't really like the guy and he was never much of a coach.

He is probably suited to rep coaching as he is only good in short bursts.
Having said that, he only wants to win one game this year in origin....poor NSW fans

Souths need a coach long term, who the board will back.

Constantly turning coaches over will never reap rewards, no matter who's in your team.

If coaches keep getting the arse over poor team performances, then essentially, the players aren't being made accountable for their poor form.

This breeds a lazy culture within the team.

Instability breeds inconsistency. Souths are a prime example of it.

does crowe still play a hands-on role within the team?

does he see himself as the assistant coach?

is he trying to micro-manage everything within the organisation?
