Well it's a Ricky Stuart article so it's safe to say We = the club
who is we ?

This may be a blessing in disguise but the pessimist in me thinks it could just put the referees further off side.
Drills are useless if the players don't understand why they are doing themi don't think it's hard to run drills on kick chase over and over again until it becomes ingrained

Izzy is a gun and would have been an amazing addition to the Eels.
You only have to look at his contribution to the Waratahs. Every touch has quality about it.
Haters will deny, but he is worth marquee coin in any team.
Meh, Izzy is one signing I'm glad we didn't follow through with.
We don't need him. We've got Ryan Morgan who should be a rep player apparently.

Agree 100% It's a joke how some sides can do pretty much what they want and others get bent over at every opportunity. You're missing the whole point of the article.
The eels have been getting consistantly screwed over by the nrl.
All this despite bringing more to the competition than almost every other Sydney club.
Let's not forget that after the 2010 salary cap scandal, the nrl unexpectedly raised the cap so Melbourne could still fit in their team of stars.
Not even three years later, the nrl decline or limit their assistance in trying to bring izzy back to the code.
If it were the storm trying to sign izzy, do you think he would've ended up at the waratahs?
