What about apointing Ricky as a coaching director for a FIxed period of 3 years.
His tenure would be to ensure we have the correct ateries to first grade for local juniors & country aspirants.
He could also be there to advise & assist with the new head coach who should be somebody new to coaching 1st grade, but not new to coaching.
eg. Jym Dymock, Dean pay, Walters .

Having the Australian Coach didn't do wonders for our playing roster under Anderson. Why would Stuart be any different?

Is ricky stuart one of the biggest names on the market in the past 5 years? .......I think so

Even if hes the f*ckedest coach ever ...having ricky is invaluable for the rebuild process

Coaches are over-rated, I reckon we don't have one.
Just get a bloke to fax the same team sheet thru each tuesday and hand the jumpers out on the weekend.

What do we have to lose in hiring Ricky, if we keep Roper, we lose marketing dollars, crowds, and basically the team, doesnt have any confidence in him.

Look at it this way Ricky has everything to gain coaching the sharks, he wins the comp with us, he has done something no other coach has doen at the sharks, and some of the coaches we have had, have had bigger reputations then Ricky, so why not give Ricky a try,

Stick with Roper we get nothing, take a punt on a unknown Lam, well Roper was unknown, and Lam, has worked with Roper both here and in england, so he might be to close, have him work with Ricky.

Lets give Ricky full reign, and no matter what happens, it will be a wild ride, has to be better then the last 3 years

Nothing can be worse than going from top 4 to the cellar. The board knows it, not only the fans.
