Riddell signs with Eels
June 22, 2004

ST George Illawarra hooker Mark Riddell will join Parramatta next season on a three year NRL contract worth upwards of $1 million.

The Eels announced Riddell would be joining the club at a press conference in Sydney today.

"It is great that Mark accepted our proposal to further his career at Parramatta," Eels chief executive Denis Fitzgerald said today.

"He will be a fine acquisition with his strong forward play as well as his excellent goal kicking."

Riddell, a City representative this season, has played 83 games for the Dragons since making his debut in 2001.

The Eels also announced Wade McKinnon and Feleti Mateo had agreed to new two-year deals while Dean Widders and Luke O'Dwyer will remain at the club next season.
