Sadly I've sensed this would be the case all week. Knights looked absolutely deflated from the start of the game and had absolutely zero spark in attack. Didn't help that pretty much everyone made at least one error (4 if you're Uate) and Mullen has been a hot f**king mess since he came back from injury.

Seriously? The fact Newcastle didn't win somehow dishonours Alex McKinnon? What a load of shit. Were the Titans meant to simply roll over and let the Knights win? The day and weekend are about Alex. The game itself is an NRL game with 2 competition points on the line.

I think people are of the view that because the Knights didn't play well it was because they didn't give a shit and figuratively shat in his face.

I didn't really see it that way though. After all the highs and lows of the week emotion wise I think the players were shot. They just looked deflated. Even I was after the emotional pre game stuff.

As a fan I'm mighty pissed off they didn't win, but put it this way, I don't think Alex himself would believe for a second they let him down.

Yep, just like Souths fans calling for duds like Sutton and Reynolds to be selected

Those duds have their team in fourth place, which is considered below average based on previous years efforts. And I've yet to see either play as bad as Mullen did yesterday

I've also never seen Reynolds or Sutton play as good as Mullen can at his best either. He's been shit this year, and Knights supporters will be the first to tell you that however be realistic mate. The closest the Bunnies have gotten to a premiership under Reynolds and Sutton was last year when they got knocked out in the prelim. Same as the Knights under Mullen. Knights also have the worst pack in the comp while Souths have close to the best but yeah, let's not let facts get in the way...

I don't think any are duds for the record.
