RL exhibition in Las Vegas

Rugby League will be played as an exhibition game at the Las Vegas Rugby Weekend. I happened to find this on the Major League Rugby site in the touch section.

Any idea who is organising it? Hopefully something can come out of this

They are playing Union.
Americans use the word League in its traditional sense because they don't know about the sport of League.

No I know that Major League Rugby is union but they talk of Rugby League (and Aussie Rules being played as exhibition games) This statement is on the Major League TOuch section of the site talking about a selection week at Las Vegas. Where would they get players/teams from for this exhibiton? Will they be established clubs from elsewhere in the States or would they just be locals who may have played the game or are at least union players?

Also I wonder what the touch is like over there. I expect it's 'Rugby Touch' the rip off of real Touch the union scum invented so that people wouldn't play what is effectively a derivation of League.

I stand corrected.
It sounds like a lot of Rugby types will be hanging around, so a League exhibition might build up some interest. I hope the AMNRL is involved in some way.
