RL2: No CD key

im getting an error when i try to create an online account, it says no CD key, whats the go here? how do i fix this sh*te so i can get in some online action?

I haven't tried that yet, but I've had a quite regular occurrence of the game complaining that the CD's not in there, even though it is. Then when I take it out and put it in it works fine but then sometimes gets to the game menu and whinges again that the CD's not there. No scratches, drive is in perfect condition. Dunno if it's because it's a DVD drive as well.

do you have Daemon Tools? cause that also could be causing it..so too CloneCD

nope, still doesnt work...

i use the internet on a network from my old mans computer, he has nero and alike on there, could that be an issue, if so im f**ked and hence forth, f**king pissed at the f**king idiots who didnt think of this sort of thing when making the game

Overall the game is good with a lot of much improved features especially the franchise mode but the on-line bugs need to be sorted out quickly!! This situation is unaceptable Mario, I bought this game on the strength of on-line play and now I find out I can't run it with Nero or Daemon Tools installed.

This should not be my problem, you guys need to come up with a game patch or patch your servers with some other type of authorisation/verification of software legitimacy and damn fast too!!

There are a lot of pissed off people who cant play on-line out here!!

It probably uses a standard copy-protection scheme that is also used in games that have serials. Many games released in the last 12 months won't function fully(or at all) if you have utilites whose usage is to circumvent copy-protection schemes like Daemon Tools.

i changed my order from PS2 to PC for the sole purpose of playing online, and now thanks to some dodgey bugs i cant... if you blokes have access to the login database perhaps thats a backdoor through this issue, you could create our accounts for us and email us with the details, weather that would work, i dont know, but as it stands i love the game but am f**king fuming over this online play debacle
