Will be interesting if he is maybe with the failure to get Leuluai the extra 20k that DAvis wanted was suddenly avalaible

shouldn't have any effect!!

Davis would be part of the emerging sqaud ie: Mathews, Ball and flegg not the fulltime sqaud, so his fee will have nothing to do with the 3.25 for the fulltime sqaud.

You still need the physical $$$ even if it isn't under the cap

we aint playing monoploy here

ofcourse we have the money!!...why wouldn't we??

Some little thing called a budget

The NRL gives clubs 2.75 million, clubs then must put in the rest of the money they get this from leagues clubs, sponsors etc.

Fitzgerald as the Leagues Club will give the Football Club X number of dollars to spend this includes the $3.25 million salary cap + reggies, Flegg, SG Ball, Harold Matthews, coaches, equipment etc

I heard that our Flegg side alone cost us around 4-500k last year, i believe the Roosters were around 1 million.

Taken from an Article from the New Zealand Herald:

"Rookie of the year nominations are Kiwi debutante Louis Anderson with two Wellington and Junior Kiwis players, second-rower Simon Mannering, signed with the Warriors, and centre Josh Davis, who has joined the Eels."

Josh didn't get the Rookie of the Year award but atleast he is coming to Parra. And this Reporter is the same guy that wrote the 1st article about Josh not coming to Parra as negotiations had broken down at that stage.

Once again its Good news for Parra.

Very good, whatever the problem was it has been sorted out but as I've said it just seems a little to conincidental for it to be anything other then not getting Leuluai as allowed Parra to give Davis the extra $$ he's manager wanted for him or at least be able to come to a figure both agree with.
