According to the RLW Mole, Mitch Brown has today signed to play for the Bulldogs effective immediately.

Don't know how reliable the Mole is, but there it is.

I think it was gronky who mentioned it in another thread here as well.

Stupid decision by the club, especially after losing tedesco for the year.

I think he is better than moltzen and we are stupid to let him go.
Benji probably didn't like him.

Actually - werent there rumours doing the rounds last week about the Tigers exceeding the salary cap?

Maybe Mitch had to go to get them under?

salary cap issues as you didnt budget for moltzen (mmm strange you would do that and not 'released' him)

Mitch was always solid when he played, never seemed to make a mistake, id rather have him than Utai on the wing to be honest.

Now that Tedesco is out for the season we may really need Brown if we have any more injuries in the backs as well :(

Not good news in my opinion. He can cover a lot of positions well and probably deserves a spot somewhere in the top squad.

Good luck to him.
Getting coached by hasler will be refreshing compared to stale sheens and will no doubt become a better player.

F#%K, im really pissed about this, even more so after Tedesco incident.

How could Sheens come out and say Brown is an Integral part of the Tigers team (read an article somewhere not long ago) and than F#%K him off, Jesus Christ theres not much more the poor bloke could have done to prove himself, was there???

Happy for him, maybe Hassler will show him some respect but as a fan im pissed.

Sad news but good on him. He has never got a fair shot at things with Teflon in charge. That would not have changed, so its best to move on and try greener pastures. Teflon supports his 'in crowd' of players and Mitch Brown just couldnt get past Ryan and Utai. Wonder if it will ever come out what actually caused the decision to go? I'd much rather Brown on a wing that Utai but oh well, that option is now gone.

Perhaps he wanted to go. Maybe he felt he would have a better opportunity at the dogs. perhaps it isnt Sheens fault?

Good luck to Mitch. He probably didn't have the impact I thought he would at the Tigers. Sheens likes a bally playing fullback all the way back to Belcher. Hopefully he does well at the Bulldogs.

Anyone who thought Sheens's retention policy is questionable only has to watch the Sharks v Tigers game. Woods and Groat have enormous potential while Gibbs tried really hard he just doesn't have the same impact. Fifita appears not to have improved.

This is 100% correct he spoke to WT Management last week and asked forca release as he felt he was not getting enough first team footy. He was then granted the release.
