This referee is a game killer!
If this game out draws the Melbourne match then Sydney really has proven itself. 20K+ for this game is impressive and you would have to think they could draw 40K+ against NZ or Eng.

The football public are starving for England v Australia in rugby league in Sydney. My gut feel is that NZ v Australia would draw well in Brisbane or Melbourne.

i dunno about proven itself
its a city of over 5 million people with the national side of its favourite sport playing & we can barely half fill a 44K seat stadium

Nothing to prove. If you think that the SFS would not have been full for a Kangaroos v England tournament opener then you have little grasp on what fans want.

it would have got more , maybe 30 to 32K , but a fullhouse ? LOL , you continue to look like a clown with this line, the last few times England have played in Sydney Allianz hasn't been anywhere near full.
its hypothetical of course & we'll never know for sure because the organisers quite rightly took the big $$ on offer from the Victorian Govt instead of the $0 on offer from the NSW govt

You are way off the mark! It would have been a full house. You underestimate the attraction of a Kangaroos v England match. A rarety in Sydney. You're the fool. Throughout this world cup you have been backtracking and making poor calls. At least you are consistent.
