The terrorgraph has been surprisingly positive about the entire tournament including slothfield. They completely bagged the 2008 tournament. There is a lot more positive feel this year.

Actually checkout the USA rugby league Facebook page, they are posting all of the Townsville news bits on the team, sounds like Townsville media are doing a decent job of embracing the Americans

Does the NRL need to learn something from this? The AFL also pay for preferencial positive coverage.

When I landed in Townsville today I saw advertisements on the walls of airport. The USA team manager was there to greet a player who flew in from Sydney I didn’t recognise him. There is definitely an atmosphere building up here.

I've read two articles in two days with glaring errors, both on the RLWC. It's not much good trying to convince people you know what you are on about when you can't get basics right.

Apparently Wales RLs only claim to fame is winning their first two internationals. Never mind they were the best international side in RL in the 1930s and had a brilliant 1995 RLWC.
