Absolutely.

I think a "tired" Jaeman Salmon is still a better option at 6 than Smith, and Derpepo (lol) should never play again.

Salmon knows his limitations at this stage of his career whereas Will Smith played last week like he had a huge skill set (he doesnt).

What has W.Smith done wrong? Put in a few nice kicks and been solid behind forwards doing nothing.

Has anyone even considered that perhaps he gave the benefit of doubt to players who are signed for next year like Terepo and Evan's over Mannah and Alvaro. Maybe even to drive their prices down.

Your post is confusing (...and a little unhinged).

We were talking about Kane Evans.
I was talking about the genius that is our coach, you replied to that post.

Evans was mentioned but my point was a sarcastic sledge about our clueless leader.

The only real head scratcher is Mannah being dropped.

With that in mind, I'd expect him to play and either Evans or Terepo to miss out.

Taka and Alvaro deserve to be dropped and Kaufusi and Salmon are young so a bit of rotation isn't surprising.

74 games???

But didn’t we sign him as a Fringe first grader???
Shaun Fensom's a fringe first grader and he's got 100 more games than Evans. He obviously played a lot more first grade at previous clubs. For fringe first graders it all depends on opportunities.

You reckon being in the top eight at the mid point of the year, with this squad, means the coach is clueless?

last week?

Story of the guys career. He is B-A-D.

I understand more that Mannah was dropped than why Will Smith is ever selected in a FG team. And I have no clue why Mannah was dropped.

Hoffman has been decent enough when selected, I just thought that Salmon would have been given a chance in the centres. I hope Willy gets freed soon enough.
Salmon doesn't even play in the centres for Wenty so how can anyone judge his form there?

If Mannah isnt injured, then there is something not right

Either Mannah has signed elsewhere for next year and BA is pissed or BA believes Peni / Evans will offer more

Either way seems an unprofessional way to pick a side

Reckon he is injured though and fighting time to be right for Friday
Mannah picked for Wenty so not injured.

Maybe you missed the point. The team went just as poorly without him, though over a larger sample.

I think you missed your own point. The team went exactly the same with or without him, so why have him in the team at all? I thought the idea was to make changes that may actually make us a better team? Having him in there only encourages the same result. Losing 3 times more then we win.

Great coaching.

Standout performance. Undeniable pick for this week.
Soufs have gone with a monster starting pack. Tatola at lock with 3 x Burgess and Sutton. Billy Brittain is a good little player. No Cook but can't be underestimated. Soufs will try and ambush us in the first 20 mins.
Predictably so, they will run up the guts to get us on the backfoot.
If we can't combat what we know is coming then its curtains for the year im afraid...
They'll ambush us like all good teams do, even tho BA knows what to expect. Not sure what he tells the players, maybe something like, 'Right boys they'll run hard at us for the first 20. I want you to be soft during that time, for them to use up all their energy, so we can ambush them in the next 20. They'll never expect that!'

Curtains for the year on us being a Premiership contender or curtains for the year on us making the Top 8?

There is 10-11 pretty average teams currently vying for the bottom 5 spots in the Top 8. Outside of Titans and Dogs, anyone could make the Top 8. A couple of pretty woeful performers are probably going to make the last two spots of the Top 8 this year.
Don't put shit on Dogs and Titans, both will probably beat us when we play them.
