The pleasing aspect of the last two weeks apart from winning was we actually won away from home.

Over the last year or so we have been travelling a lot better away from home !! Very pleasing !!
Well this year we get to travel away from home every week, so we better get good at it

Does anyone know who played hooker/half for the last 4 or 5 mins ?

Pritchard / Norman I think were benched in the last 4 or 5 mins
When Kaysa came off, Brown went to dummy half.
When Norman came off, Taka moved to the halves and Manu covered his centre spot (Windscreens came on for Norman).

Interesting and weird stat of the round, the dragons only missed 18 tackles. The least amount (along with the Storm) from any side from round 2.

Interesting!!

If Jennings catches that pass before halftime - he would probably have scored himself - if not he passes to Semi which would have resulted in Semi scoring 5 !!!

He's never happy, which is good I suppose for a coach :joy:

The good thing is there is plenty to improve on.

I like that from the coach. I remember a couple of years ago we smashed Manly by 30 but said at the press conference we were terrible.

I think he'd be disappointed with the second half tries we conceded, although one of them they should've been in that position after those ridiculous penalties. But then again we also got some dodgy penalties as well.

Really? You think the Panthers were the best team? You? Really? Would never have guessed.........

Honestly I think they put in the best team performance of the weekend YES.
Chalked up 9 Line breaks in attack an conceded only 1. Whilst possession was even. To keep a team out from scoring a try away from home is a huge effort in the heat by any team-Especially the fast tigers.

Parra had 7 Line breaks and conceded 4 to a team not known for attack. Also 55% possession. We also missed 10 more tackles then the saints.

Sharks - Storm-Cowboys-Broncos also deserve special mention along with the eels. Roosters looked good in patches but overall where lose. Id rank them like this based only on rnd 2.

1 Penrith
2 Sharks
3 Eels
4 Storm
5 Cowboys
6 Brisbane
7 Roosters

Sure we have had two very good wins away from home. Against two teams who will more then likely finish bottom 4. I do not want to get carried away just yet.
The interesting thing with the first 4 teams I've named is they have players who will come back and make them stronger. The storm gets the best injection of talent.

We are one forward short of being the best team in the comp. If we had a Toumlolo this season we are top 2.

Our window is great the next two seasons. 2017 if had that forward along with Semi would of been our best chance. But while our spine is so cheap we need to exploit it.

Parra will plays finals 2018/2019 - Very confident on that. Things may be harder 2020 onwards with spine all off contract.

I keep hearing this train of thought that we've beaten two teams who will probably finish at the bottom - but we can only play what's in front of us.
