I was at Campbelltown that day watching Souths get belted. Around the grounds updates were pretty horrific.

Three of the Wests players went on to become Eels coaches, with Taylor also playing more games for us than he coached. Three other players went on to play for Parra, including Johnston who was both a former and future Eel. Leeds was the only other former Eel. Also Manoa Thompson's and Tyran Smith's sons went on to play for Parra.

So that's why I was there. Keeping tabs on future Parramatta coaches and players and their dads.
