Bird ruled out for Cat 1 concussion. If you notice a second after his head hits the ground he has the sense of mind to try and trip the attacker with his hand. You don't do that if you are concussed. We have been screwed here.

He was holding a groin/upper leg injury and hobbling a fair bit if that is any consolation.
