Love this weekend (& the next few)....4 games of footy that will be high quality.

We need a few things to fall our way if we are to get a chance to defend our premiership:

Roosters beat Broncos;
Storm cripple Eels;
Sharks overcome Cowboys;

Sharks kick the Eels whilst they're down;

Sharks regain the wood over the Roosters.

Nothing there would surprise....

That's a bit harsh, we are the reigning Premiers. Our finals campaign kicks off Sunday and I'm optimistic we can kick up to another level that the team has already shown at times this year. I have faith in the generals and we have quite a few.

If the forwards fire up to their potential we will just about beat everyone.

I reckon we have a great draw. If we can't beat Cows then Parra then we don't deserve a shot at going back to back. Cows are done and Parra wouldn't be top 4 had they not had the softest draw I can recall.

Agree we want Roosters to win, am confident we can beat them but the broncos at Suncorp may trouble the Sharks.

I drove. I stayed long enough at the stadium that there was no traffic on the way home. Was a smooth drive.

I'd assume that game would be the Saturday;
Otherwise the Sunday game winner would only have a 5 day turn around till Friday while the loser tonight gets an 8 day turnaround
