True, but either way it wouldn't be possible without the Tigers knowledge. NRL would refuse to register any players contract before round June 30
of the final year of their contract unless the club has given their permission.

he wouldnt be playing the first game if the storm didnt make it to the GF, they did and ended up getting smashed anyway..he was suspended for 2 games..us v storm - 1st game, GF - 2nd game
