Type Farah in youtube and watch the tries he scores and sets up.

My take, Farahs a flashier player but he doesnt read the game as well as Cam yet (or have his subltety) nor is he close to the defenesive player that Cam is.

 no thi thread is about west tiger fans showing the rest of the forum trolling world that they are delusional..

Put Cronk in hooker and he's better then Farah...(Farah has had a go at halfback hasnt he..)
wow cronk better than farah at hooker :?

i rate Cronk i really do hes my fave half atm but i really think u need too watch more tigers games

that goes for most people on these boards Farah imo had a better year than any tiger in memory from 2000-2007 yes even better than Prince and Benji was in 05

if Farah was playing for the storm and smith for the tigers people would be saying Farah was the best hooker in the world

just like it was with lafranchi and odonnell and soon as they left they started too get noticed even though they did that sort of stuff at the tigers and were just as good

no but he knows when too catch markers offside even though refs ignored it 80% of the time
he knows how too run a offense he set up more tries than any other hooker in the game this year
Great kicking and passing game ,good running game and great defense he only missed 3 tackles per game last year and he made a lot so hes even improving that area

and so he should but i wonder how many of those people have watched every game of both teams ?????

true.

i think ive seen enough of both players to judge pretty fairly tho.

Besides...smith has played for his state and country a number of times, won a premiership also....so thats gotta count for something.

farah won a premiership too ;-)

yeh but playing for aus doesnt mean yor the best it just means that your a fave of the selectors got a feeling if sheens had played Farah in 04 instead of senter than Farah might of had that aus jersey

True he did.

But c'mon, being selected for both ya state and country time and time again proves that you are at the highest level in your postion. But not only being selected smith has done an awesome job for QLd and AUS.

I think that Robbie Farah is a great player and maybe will end up the best hooker around, but I certainly can't rate him the equal of Smith yet. It's all very well to say "Oh, but Farah would go great if he played for Australia or in Origin!", but the fact is that he hasn't done either of those things and Cameron Smith has performed admirably at both. Equally Farah hasn't been in a position where he's been captaining a team and regularly acting as the onfield leader in the same way that Smith has.

At the end of the day both players have done very well over the last few years of NRL football. But only Smith has also proved himself to be a top class player at a higher level too. Until Farah does the same (and I agree he should have played Origin already) I can't rate him on the same level.

All this rubbish about farah being better because he plays in a struggling team is exactly that. rubbish.

smith plays in a strong team because he's in it. and hes one of the most important players in making the team what it is.

saying that he only appears to be better because he plays in a strong team is a pissweak and stupid argument.

I think this is a pretty good summation.
