Robson desperate to stay an Eel

I reckon Robson plays Right and Mortimer left.

I rarely see Robson passing to INU/Burt/Lowrie

and I never see Mortimer pass to Grothe/Reddy.

Unless there is a sweeping play from one end to the other, you will see one half pass to the other half.

i.e. right to left -> Robson to Morts

left to right -> Morts to Robson.

I think Lowrie gets more ball than Inu.

However, on the right hands side, Reddy gets more ball than whoever the 2nd rower is on the right.

So the point you`re making is that Robson feeds his backs better than Mortimer does? Or at least, Mortimer doesn`t feed Inu much ball?

Yup if you agree with what I said regarding where Morts plays and Robbo plays.

I don't think that Morts is not feeding his backs well.

I think Lowrie GETS in the WAY !!! He gets the ball, runs sometimes offloads to INU but sometimes throws a shocker. INU is then trying to step his way out of traffic.

Morts should cut him out sometimes to give early ball to INU.

This is why people are saying INU doesn't get good ball but Gorthe/Reddy does.

I also think Morts holds the ball longer in his hands than Robbo does. Morts should use Lowrie as a run a round

While he is a fall guy on the forums, yes he does get in the way of attacking moves!

Or said differently, a disproportionate number of them die at his hand through either spilt ball or loss of momentum. Stick Ben Smith in his spot at lock imo (until Mateo comes back) and it might flow better, either through hands or by better positioning/swapping between him and Inu.

I think the problem with INU is that he is trying to do things himself rather than make proper use of his wingman.

Reddy goes himself but also creates for Grothe.

INU goes himself and if it doesn't succeed, he gets tackled with the ball.

Tahu was like that early on in his centre career.

There seems to be something more with Inu. Really good players seem to be able to make time and space for themselves - Inu doesn`t. I know he`s got a good skill-set and he`s athletic and all of that, but he gets crowded too easily - he always seems to be trying to get out of traffic; seldom (never) runs through gaps anymore. Maybe he isn`t a centre. Maybe that`s a myth. Maybe he`s a winger, pure and simple. Something has to give, though, because when Tahu comes next year, we`ll have five first grade players to fill four three-quarter positions. We`re gunna have one first-grade back playing all year for Wenty. And on form, you`d have to think it will be Inu.

I am ok with Lowries form atm.

However, he should read "How to Play like Daniel Wagon."

He should just defend and be a hitman on a particular player like the playmaker.

I don't think INU runs at holes.

He tries to always use his footwork.

Josh Morris and Chris Lawrence are good hole runners running at good lines.

The above two run at a hole and gives the playmaker the option of passing to them.

INU tends to be more flat footed when getting the ball and thus thinking that he has to step his way through.
